INNO4H2O in SMAGUA 2025

These days, March 4, 5 and 6, 2025, has taken place the Fair of reference in southern Europe in charge of covering the complete water cycle. From the construction of wastewater treatment plants to the digitization of processes.

SMAGUA, the International Water and Irrigation Exhibition, celebrated its 50th anniversary this week. And we had the opportunity to be there to present our pioneering water technology innovation ecosystem in Spain, INNO4H2O.

On this occasion, Jordi Cros, ADASA’s innovation director, was in charge of explaining what our water management plan is based on.

The INNO4H2O project has a clear objective: to ensure efficient and sustainable management of water resources. To this end, it will seek to ensure an improvement in the quality and quantity of water for present and future generations.

At the Conference, Jordi Cros was able to show us the three areas of action of our Innovation Ecosystem, based on advanced water treatment technologies, such as regeneration and potabilization and its circular economy, that is, the recovery and generation of bioproducts; Smart Water, ICT tools to optimize water management; and the Water-Energy Nexus, whose focus is on energy efficiency and the use of clean energies.

The application of ICT technologies makes it possible to improve water management in order to optimize distribution and sanitation networks, thus reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of water resources, while ensuring their quality and quantity at all times.
