REAL SOLUTIONS TO WATER CHALLENGES

On October 23rd we held the third edition of the INNO4H2O OPEN DAYS, a format designed for companies, public administrations, and public and private managers of the water and waste cycle, but once again open to the general public. After the success of the previous editions in Burgos and Valencia, this time the event took place in A Coruña, hosted by our colleagues from ITG.

The meeting, under the slogan “Real solutions for water challenges” focused on new technological solutions to meet the present and future challenges of water and the circular economy. For this, we had experts from Water Europe, the Spanish Water Technology Platform PTEA, DIHGIGAL – Digital Innovation Hub Industrial de Galicia, Tinámica or Catalan Water Partnership CWP, among others.

The intention to provide the conference with a practical approach opened the doors to the review of R&D&I cases aimed at a more efficient and sustainable management of the water cycle, such as SYMSITES, AQUA2VAL, Life Rewaincer, iMERMAID EU, or our own Ecosystem. The event concluded with a panel discussion on the potential of Data Spaces in the Water sector. Data makes it possible to share information in a secure and structured way, allowing to optimize water management, predict incidents and improve energy savings and sustainability.

The initiative once again demonstrated the remarkable impact that technology can and should have on the integral water cycle. Technology and Collaboration, the pillars of INNO4H2O, once again confirmed their role as the mainstays of INNO4H2O.
